Keep this favor

Faces walk past full with excuses
Hungry eyes with one favor to satisfy his savory urge
Expecting the same burning results
Witnessing unfavoring souls
An everyday street dweller hoping to stand by the next bystanders umbrella
Walking on by I accepted his request expecting nothing less
but for him keep this favor
Staring at a mirror covered in those faces full of excuses reflecting a reversal of situations
If we cross paths again do me this favor and catch me when I’m falling out of luck
You’ll have no excuse but to return the favor
