At the capital: D.C. Photo Mix

• Below are photos I took during my trip to D.C. in the last week of September entering October. I don’t have much to say other than it was a great experience exploring a new city and learning the city’s history. Photo description: Here is the site of the infamous January 6th insurrection but it’s also the seat for the U.S. Congress, which is the legislative branch of the federal government. I took this photo after finishing a tour of the building.

Photo description: I stood on top of the Lincoln Memorial steps to take this shot. Not to mention, the Lincoln Memorial was under construction but it was still open to the public. However, we had to be careful to not be near the vicinity of the work site.
