- I haven’t shared a photo journal in a while, and I should post them more often because the photo gallery on my phone keeps getting bigger. Anyway, here is what I’ve been up to lately.
Title: Brotherly steps
Location: Philadelphia, PA: Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Rocky Steps
Photo description: If you’ve seen the Rocky films, then you should recognize these iconic steps.
Title: Accomplishments
Location: Rocky steps @ Philadelphia Museum of Art
Photo description: Even though I was photobombed, I decided to use this photo instead of the two others I took because I wanted to acknowledge not only my accomplishments but also those of others. As you can see in the photo, the proud older gentleman celebrated his goal of reaching the top of the same steps as Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), and I couldn’t help but smile when I saw his raised arms in celebration. It should go without saying, there is no age limit to reaching your achievements, even if some try to put limitations and obstacles on your path.
Title: Center City Love
Location: JFK Love Plaza, Philadelphia, PA
Photo description: If you look closely at the Love Sign sculpture, there is what seems to be a smiley face on the letter “L”. I’d like to thank the sunlight reflection for making that happen.
Title: Rainy first days
Location: City Hall, Philadelphia, PA
Photo description: As I made my way off the SEPTA train and toward Philadelphia’s City Hall, it began raining, but it didn’t bother me much because I didn’t plan on visiting any places that day. Needless to say, the city saw nothing but sunshine and clear skies the next day. That Saturday was a long but satisfying day because I woke up early and explored the city before going to Camden, NJ, for a music festival I had tickets for, and that picture can be seen below.
Title: FMP Sunshine
Location: Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, Camden, NJ
Photo description: I took the photo above during the first hour (1 PM) of the music festival. It lasted until 10:30 PM.
