- Hello everyone, this is a special post for me because this is was my first featured poem publication on Spillwords. I can’t say I have a single favorite poem I’ve written but if I had to pick a top 10 list, this poem would defiantly be one of them for the simple fact that it depicts a evil part of our American history. In addition, I also found it special because I got the inspiration for the theme of the poem from the song I Gave You Power by Nas which he rapped from the perspective of a gun.
