Be honest with yourself: You suck at cooking.

I’m sure we’re all familiar with the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, but what if the title of a book is judgemental and has you questioning what you’ve been doing wrong in your life? For example, I came across this book a few days ago on my way to get dinner after work and the title immediately captured my attention. Specifically, the title “You suck at cooking” is such an emphatic statement for a book title and it amused me, so I decided I had to add it to my book collection. Moreover, I’ve been cooking consistently for years now. However, I know there is still room for improvement and I’m always proud of myself whenever I can successfully cook a meal that meets or exceeds my expectations. On another note, the book consists of chapters on breakfast, sandwiches, soups and salads, meat/chicken dishes, and more. It has simple enough dishes for novices and seasoned (no pun intended) individuals. In addition, the one aspect of the book I find particularly intriguing is the levity it brings to the explanations. I don’t know about you but I always read the synopsis of every book I collect and the humor it provided was something I found welcoming. Anyway, if any of you reading this post has experience in cooking or culinary then please share your thoughts or tips in the comments.
