I refuse to sanitize racism, and you should too. Collective efforts to sanitize racism are not only deplorable but also dangerous because they normalize disregard and derisive attitudes. – TheRhymeRula

  1. My guess is this happened in the States? I haven’t even recieved a notification from BBC, which probably speaks a lot for biased reporting. I agree though, it doesn’t matter the colour of your skin, racism is racism and it has no part in our modern society. It’s bad enough listening to my mother talk about “the boat people” and defending Britain’s borders, it’s xenophobic and it disgusts me. I don’t care who you are or where you’re from, if you respect me then you’re more than welcome in my neighbourhood and we will look out for one another.

    1. Yes this happened in the States. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this matter. I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments. We should always condemn racist rhetoric and behavior without having to worry about the consequences. Life is sacred and so is the truth.
