(Un)Forgiven Fear

The young mind has trepidation of the unknown that “lives” beyond the darkness. Once we grow older the light is something we can clearly see and understand. However, there is a reluctance to accept it because skepticism protects the mind from pain and disappointment. You can’t force the truth on someone, you can only bestow it and one will come to their own conclusions. -TheRhymeRula
