    1. True, here’s the thing: it’s all about character for me. There have been times when I’ve realized that people eventually reveal their “true nature,” or in other words, the unattractive qualities they try their best to hide. Moreover, it’s not a matter of if, but when it’s shown. Once shown, any type of attraction to their energy that I initially had becomes ruined, and this results in most instances a loss of respect. In the case of smiling, I think people such as the untrustworthy man you mentioned smile to compensate and hide their dishonesty, and want to be perceived as easy-going and likeable, but as I said before, the facade will eventually lose strength and reveal their ugly traits. In closing, I’ve seen attractive people become hideous after noticing how they conduct themselves, and that’s something I don’t respect. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
