Wherever I look to
A welcoming sign feels necessary
Even beyond the sunshine
What is left unfinished feels too cumbersome to continue with
Ultimately, I reach a point
Where nothing else works,
and I rot expeditiously before I allow myself to ripen
Exasperated
Choices feel like a chore
And quitting is simple
So, I give myself reminders
To never surrender the commitment
to wonder what’s next

Procrastination is my albatross, too. 😅 Your words remind me off how it feels and why it often gets the upper hand, ugh! Thanks for sharing ot! 👍

Yes, indeed. We must avoid putting ourselves in a position where we become defeated by procrastination because then it turns into an unhealthy habit. Not to mention, inactivity isn’t conducive for paths to achievement. Thank you for reading and the comment.
