too many messages

I’m listening, so what’s the latest? 

No wait, never mind 

Don’t answer, I’ve gotten used to the silence 

Stay away 

The feeling of being welcomed has gone to disarray 

No matter its strength, distance can destroy any connection 

It’s like a game of tag

But no one is it

We’ve wasted too many messages 

And as of now, 

The only response is disregard

A change for the better is still pending

The status is unknown, like newly discovered bones 

Exasperated

I’ve made the last turn

Now it’s yours
